GlowPath Al is a smart, solar-powered pedestrian safety system designed to reduce night-time road accidents. Many pedestrian accidents occur due to poor visibility, delayed driver reaction, and lack of responsive crossing infrastructure. This project focuses on transforming traditional footpaths into intelligent safety zones.
The system uses Al-based sensors to detect pedestrian movement in real time. When someone approaches a crossing, in-ground LED lights and warning signals automatically activate, improving visibility for both pedestrians and drivers. The lighting system clearly indicates safe crossing areas and helps Increase driver alertness in low-light conditions.
The entire setup runs on solar energy with battery backup, making it sustainable and suitable for both urban and rural locations. By combining smart sensors, LED Illumination, and IoT control, the project alms to create safer, more responsive road infrastructure.
