Problem Statement:  
The electricity powering our residences is largely generated through the combustion of fossil fuels. This process inevitably releases a range of hazardous emissions, including methane, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide.

Materials Required:  
Hydrogen Fuel Cell  
Plastic Bottles  
Batteries  
Wires and alligator clips  
SS screws and nut bolts  
Saline tube  
M - seal  
Superglue  
Pen

Working Principle:  
This project leverages a regenerative electrochemical cycle that utilizes renewable energy to extract hydrogen from water, which is then converted into clean, high-efficiency electricity within a fuel cell to power residential spaces with zero carbon emissions.

Innovation:  
The innovation lies in the integration of a decentralised, regenerative energy loop that transforms surplus renewable power into storable hydrogen for on-demand use.  
By replacing traditional combustion with this self-sustaining electrochemical process, the project creates a carbon-neutral ecosystem that provides constant, clean energy independence for a modern home.

Application to Society:  
The implementation of this hydrogen-based energy loop offers a transformative solution to the global climate crisis by providing a zero-emission alternative to fossil fuel combustion.  
By decentralising power production, this technology empowers communities to achieve complete energy autonomy while shielding households from fluctuating utility costs.  
Furthermore, it serves as a critical blueprint for sustainable urban development, replacing hazardous atmospheric pollutants with pure water vapor to pave the way for a resilient, carbon-neutral society.

Approximate cost:  
We successfully developed this functional model with a remarkably low initial investment of just 2,400 Rs.  
This cost-effective budget demonstrates the project’s potential for scalability and its viability as an affordable clean energy solution for residential use.
