Project Title:
Semi-Electric Cycle Project – Reduced Cost and High Efficiency Using Recycled Kinetic Energy

Brief Description:
This project focuses on designing a low-cost semi-electric cycle that uses a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). The system captures energy during braking or downhill movement and stores it for later use. The aim is to reduce battery usage, lower cost, and make the cycle more eco-friendly and efficient.

Working Principle:
When the rider brakes or slows down, the wheels still have kinetic energy. The KERS system captures this energy using a dynamo or flywheel and converts it into electrical energy. This energy is stored in a battery or capacitor. Later, when extra power is needed (such as going uphill), the stored energy powers a motor to assist pedaling.
