Project Title - Electricity Harvesting Speed Breaker
Description - The system is based on the principle of energy conversion: mechanical energy is transformed into electrical energy through electromagnetic induction. The setup consists of a steel skeleton framework fitted with springs, straight and circular gears (rack and pinion mechanism), an alternator, and a battery for storage. When a vehicle passes over the speed breaker, the applied force compresses the springs. This vertical displacement drives the straight gear, which engages the pinion and rotates the alternator. The alternator then generates electricity, which is stored in a battery.
