� � Smart Autonomous Cleaning & Sanitization Robot Developed under Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Subject: Computational Thinking & Robotics Innovation � � Project Description In today’s fast-moving world, maintaining hygiene has become more important than ever. However, daily floor cleaning and sanitization require physical effort, time, and continuous attention. This becomes especially challenging for elderly people, pregnant women, patients, and working families. To solve this real-world problem, we designed and developed a Smart Autonomous Cleaning & Sanitization Robot — an intelligent, multi-functional robotic system that not only cleans floors but also sanitizes and dries them instantly, ensuring complete hygiene and safety. This project was conceptualized and developed in the Atal Tinkering Lab using principles of Computational Thinking such as:  Problem Decomposition  Pattern Recognition  Algorithm Design  Logical Programming  Real-world Testing & Iteration � � Technology & System Architecture O-ur robot is powered by Arduino Uno, which acts as the brain of the system. It integrates multiple subsystems into one smart automated platform: Page 3 1 Intelligent Cleaning Module A high-speed rotating mop removes dust, dirt, and stains from the floor efficiently. 2 Smart Liquid Dispensing System A controlled detergent spraying mechanism ensures optimized use of cleaning liquid, preventing wastage and improving cleaning performance. 3 Instant Drying Mechanism A built-in fan system dries the surface immediately after mopping. This significantly reduces the risk of slipping accidents, making it safe for children and senior citizens. 4 Advanced Sanitization System A mist maker module converts sanitizer into ultra-fine droplets, dispersing it into the surrounding air and floor surface.
